Maulana Nizam-ul-Haq Thanvi

Maulana Nizamul Haq Thanvi is son of world renowned Islamic Scholar/Orator of Pakistan Hazrat Maulana Ehtishamul Haq Thanvi (RA), who was the nephew of great reformer mujaddid of Islamic world Hakeemul Ummat Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (RA). Maulana Nizamul haq Thanvi belongs to family of Sayyiddina Hazrat Abubakr Siddique RA.

Maulana Thanvi completed his Bachelors from Leads University UK and postgraduation in Science from YMCA College Chicago. He has worked in United Nations UNHCR in Islamabad Pakistan.

Apart from his worldly education and activities he achieved his Tajweed Ilm from Jamia Ashrafiya Lahore Pakistan and whatever he has achieved is from the companionship with his father, teachers and Ulamas of different parts of the world plus Tarbiyah from them and being living with them is an honour and great achievement.

He moved to Australia from Pakistan in 1995 with his family as a religious teacher in Central Coast NSW. From then till 2018 he was the Imam/teacher of Quran e Kareem/Khateeb for Friday prayers at Wyong Mosque, Central Coast Islamic Society.

Having done is religious education in Pakistan, in 2004 he refreshed his Imamat course from The Muslim Council of NSW Inc. He scored 1st position. The Course coordinator/Head Imam’s compliments were:

“Good luck to you. The khutbah you have delivered has added many things to our knowledge. The information you delivered in your Khutbah were new to me and when I confirmed them from Books and Ulamas, they were all true.”

He delivered Jumma Khutbah and lead salaah in different masajids in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well. In 2006 he got a position for Islamic Teacher at Australian Islamic College Sydney (AICS) where he served nearly 5 years teaching Islamic studies and Quran studies.

In 2018 he was offered a position of Head Imam of Kilbirnie Mosque Wellington NZ. After the unfortunate and sad incident of Christchurch Shooting he 2019, he was honoured to start the session with Quran recitation in NZ Parliament.

Imam Ousmane Drame

A scholar of Islam, Ousmane Drame is the Imam of Masjid Al Farooq in Chicago, Illinois.

He is also the Executive Director of Mali Relief, a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid to the poor in Mali and its surrounding countries.

Imam Ousmane’s success stems from his ability to deliver the Khutbah (Sermon) in Arabic, English, French and his native African language.

Additionally, Imam Ousmane has delivered countless lectures on Islam at various conferences and community events throughout Chicagoland and the U.S.
